By losing 40+ pounds over approximately 1 years’ time and upping my physical activity some (not a crazy amount), I’ve been able to lower my A1c from 7 to 5.1 in my latest test. That should give some incentive to others that are dealing with glucose levels that are too high.  I’ve always said this was more a matter of health for me than vanity.  Getting into smaller sizes is nice but it wasn’t my main goal.  My goal was to stay off of diabetes medications.
