YMCA Camp Pendalouan on the shores of Big Blue Lake offers a quiet, rustic setting and unparalleled service for groups from throughout Michigan and the Great Lakes region. As a YMCA camp, we have access to national standards for developing character, as well as creating space for campers to develop their physical, social, and emotional well-being.


YMCA Camp Pendalouan offers children ages 7-18 the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Big Blue Lake while simultaneously developing physical, social, and emotional skills that they will carry with them to their life away from camp. Great emphasis is placed on being a person of character and putting principles into action that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

    Pendalouan offers a variety of camp programs including Overnight Camps, Day Camps & Family Camps.  Nearly a century of operation has led Pendalouan to become a premiere Michigan camp. 
  • Retreats and Rentals
    Pendalouan is the ideal spot to host your next event. Pendalouan personalizes any event, including weddings, corporate team building, company retreats, and more. 
  • Outdoor education
    Pendalouan is the perfect setting to get students connected to the outdoors. Pendalouan offers opportunities to enhance students’ learning experience, adaptable program curriculum, and leadership and teambuilding challenges.


Camp Pendalouan is a premiere summer camp in Michigan for children ages 7-18. Children ages 7-17 can attend our overnight camps, and day camps are available for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Seasonal family camps that include father and son camps, mom and kids camps, and women’s adventures are also available.
